• Email signup (checklist and rule-change alerts): only your email address и ваш state (or city and state on sites that need it). We also record that you checked the consent box, the consent wording you saw, when you signed up, which page you signed up on, and when you clicked the confirm link. Nothing is sent to you after the first email unless you click that confirm link.
• Ответы теста stay in your browser. We don't receive them.
• "Report a wrong fact" and "Was this helpful?": we receive the page address and what you type or click. Reports are emailed to our team at partners@paidtocare.org. Please don't include personal details. We don't ask for your name or email there.

• Аналитика: Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) plus anonymous counts of actions like "took the quiz" or "closed the alert offer". These counts include no personal information.

We never ask for health details, Medicaid or VA ID numbers, Social Security numbers or financial details. We don't text readers.

Why, and who sees it

We use your email and state to send what you asked for: your checklist, up to 3 welcome emails over 2 weeks, then an email when caregiver pay rules change in your state, and occasional notes about our own guides and templates. Only our team and the providers that process data for us see it: Resend (email), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we stop emailing you as soon as you use it.

We do not sell or share your personal information. The one exception is if you separately check a box asking us to connect you with a caregiving agency in your state. In that case we share your email and state only with the partners named on that form, and only for that purpose. Currently named partners: none. We have not shared anyone's information yet.
